MORE BOATS

Hi,

it has been a while since I updated my Blog.
A few weeks ago I got my eye surgery and soon I should be able to work again normaly (right now, only close vision is ok).
Anyway, as you can see I am addicted to boat-drawings. I have a lot of fun drawing those contrasts beetwen large shapes and small details, shadows playing around, mirror reflexion in the water, the pier and its world of organised and repetitive shapes.
Here in Oslo we also have the chance to have some sailing- boats with complex ropes organisation...probably my next target.

I hope you will like them.

Guillaume.

Very nice these last sketches, Guillaume!
It's always a pleasure to watch your sketchbooks.
Also, I find the subjects more delighting than one year ago :))))

Woooooooowwwwwwhhhhhhhhaaaaaaahhhhhh! How nice! they look great! it's true that boats are a great subject for drawing.. anything with the sea in it.
Hope you are recovering well from the eye surgery and that you will be soon drawing from life again with your new eagle-eyesight. I'll write to you soon.

Hi, thanks for your lovely comments guys!
Dibumac, again congratulation!
Patrick, il n´y a pas d´air plus pure que celui de la norvege et Los Angeles est maintenant de l´histoire bien ancienne. Merci beaucoup pour ton message ca m´a fait plaisir.
Stranded, I´m recovering from my surgery and now trying to adapt myself to my new vision (not as good as it was unfortunatly). But nothing can stop me to draw!!!
Pmbc,Hfm, and..."contact me?", thank for your comments.
Mr Plot, Funny your dream and I hope we will see each other soon to realize it. But right now, may be not in the coutryside of Norway because the temperature is getting colder days after days. We will find a warm place, like a good pub around a good drink for instance.
Guillaume.
